A heads up for anyone in New York this coming Thursday-Satruday: the annual International Law Weekend will be taking place on October 25-27. The ILW is sponsored by the American Branch of the International Law Association (ABILA), the Leitner Center for International Law and Justice at Fordham Law School, and the International Law Students Association (ILSA), along with numerous co-sponsors. Thursday events will be held at the House of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, 42 West 44th Street; Friday and Saturday panels will be held at Fordham Law School, 140 West 62nd Street.
The full program can be found here, but of particular interest to our readers will be the panel "European Union: Progress, Set-backs and Crises" set for 3:00 pm on Friday in Room 302 at Fordham Law School. Panelists include Elizabeth Defeis (Seton Hall), Roger Goebel (Fordham), Hugo Kaufmann (CUNY Graduate Center), Peter Lindseth (UConn Law School), and Roland Tricot (the EU Delegation to the UN).
