AALS Meeting, Section on Financial Institutions Luncheon (Fri, Jan 3): Sean Hagan, General Counsel, International Monetary Fund

Our friends in the Section on Financial Institutions and Consumer Financial Services have alerted us that their section's luncheon (immediately following the joint program with the European Law Section on the post-crisis financial reforms) will be keynoted by Sean Hagan, General Counsel for the IMF, on the topic of sovereign debt.  Unfortunately, Hagan's talk conflicts with the luncheon of the European Law Section (details here) but we wanted to alert other readers to this event, given the importance and salience of the topic.  For more details on how to sign up for the luncheon and Hagan talk, contact Saule Omarova (UNC), chair of the Section on Financial Institutions and Consumer Financial Services.
